What the Judges are Saying
Yggdrasil sounds like an incredibly immersive experience and strategy in a vibrant prehistoric setting. The dynamic moral system and evolving storyline promise to keep players engaged and invested in their choices, making every decision impactful. I'm excited to see how the crafting mechanics will enhance the gameplay!
I learned a new word today! (Yggdrasil!)
I love how your desire for environmental connectiveness inspired you to create this game! You have a beautiful game on your hands; the graphics are clear and detailed, and it runs very well (I'm not even on my gaming computer and the graphics don't stop it from running very smoothly!)
I personally would've liked some extra guidance to help demonstrate your ideas even better (a tutorial, an objective, focusing on a specific mechanic, etc.). I want to feel that *connection* to nature as I play and have an opportunity to interact with my surroundings; I want to do more than just being a passive observer. Based on your presentation, I know you had some big ideas in mind for this game. Even if you found yourself limited on time as you built out the game, I would've loved to see more of your thought process behind its creation and further detail about your dream vision within your presentation.
P.S. peepeepoo is still in your presentation URL 😅 as much as I love that (you got a giggle out of me), just remember to check stuff like that before formally publishing.
You have an amazing concept and I encourage you to build it out further! I'd happy to be the first one in line to download :P
