What the Judges are Saying
Hi, Joel and Edward!
It was truly impressive to see you demonstrate your app idea, design, and functionality in front of the camera! :clapping_hands::tone_medium_light::mobile_phone_arrow::clapping_hands::tone_medium_light: Huge congratulations on presenting your project and the amazing job you’ve done!:trophy:
Your app, 'BrainStormX', clearly shows your passion and creativity—the concept behind it is super original and artistic! The app is well-structured and engaging. I did notice the absence of common screens like login or user account creation, but that’s something you can explore by benchmarking similar apps in the store for future development.
Your presentation was full of energy, well done! Presenting in front of others is no easy task, and I really felt the enthusiasm and effort you put into it. :clapping_hands::tone_medium_light:
:eyes: Adding AI models and AI functionalities to your app makes it highly relevant and competitive in today’s tech world, congrats on taking that extra step!
To keep growing your skills, I encourage you to enhance your presentation by including a step-by-step walkthrough of the app’s functionality and screen flow, as well as outlining the next steps or new features you’d like to add. You are creators, keep it up! :trophy::mobile_phone_arrow:

Hi Joel & Edward, you have an interesting idea for your app! The purpose of your app is very creative and a great way for people to start exploring and experimenting with a creative outlet they may have but not know how to approach. Your app facilitates the approach part and allows the user to have a much simpler way to explore their creative side.
Based on the way it works in figma & playlab.ai, it’s clear you had a very specific flow that worked well for users and a working AI that can immediately answer and explore further questions. I like that the AI guides a user into knowing what options they have and how to utilize the AI to develop their creativity concepts even further.
In the future, this app could even develop to do more than creative brainstorming and also be expanded further into other topics.
Within the presentation, I enjoyed your explanation on the loading screen for the “raining” during the brainstorming into the brain – very creative – then it led to an idea in the brain. When I first looked at your presentation document alone, it was harder to see all your ideas that you explained in the youtube video. The youtube video was very helpful in your demonstration and explanations.
My recommendation is for you both to provide more demonstrations to show what your app can currently do or a flowchart of how the process works in more detail into your presentation. Currently your powerpoint presentation does not tell your whole story of the app, but once you show more of how your app works, it will be easier to follow your presentation and fully understand what your idea is doing.
Overall, the idea is well thought out and has a clear goal! Great job Joel & Edward, and keep up the good work. I hope your idea can come to life one day and help as many people and more as you envisioned.
