Professional Feedback
I think it's great that your group chose to focus on stock trading and investing. Financial literacy is an important skill, and more teens and young adults are becoming interested in learning how investing works. Your logo is very creative - I especially liked how the trading line is incorporated into the "O" and helps form the "M" in STOCK SIM. That was a clever design choice that made the logo memorable. One of my favorite features is the practice trading module, which allows users to learn and build confidence without risking real money. That's a smart and safe way to help beginners understand investing and decision-making. One suggestion for future presentations would be to use slightly larger fonts and make the trading line in the app name stand out more so viewers notice it right away. Overall, this is a thoughtful app that encourages young people to learn about money management and investing. Great job! 📈👏💰
This is a (possibly) lucrative way to apply financial literacy to a real-world situation.
Smart to allow those who want to become investors to get training and test their hunches without losing (or gaining) real money. It would be helpful to take a deeper dive into the 77% stat of first-time investors losing money to understand the range of factors that contribute to this phenomenon, beyond inexperience.
I see that you have a quote for a beta user, but once the app rolls out, it would be compelling to see how trained users of your apps fare in their stock market trading.
Good job!
