About this Project
Many students around the world fear for their safety. The problem lies in communication. If people aren’t aware of an emergency, people aren’t safe. SafeAlert is an app that can connect all students and parents to alert them whenever an emergency happens. This aims to keep everyone informed to any safety concerns.

One exciting direction for future iterations — imagine neighboring schools being able to communicate with each other about safety concerns and collaborate on improving their security together. That kind of network effect could make the tool even more powerful.
The Figma work looks polished and the user flow is intuitive. A great next step would be running surveys with students and schools to uncover additional features they'd find valuable — that real-world feedback will make the product even stronger.

Nice job with the presentation and the Figma mock-up. Schools do need emergency alert systems, and it would be great to have one that can reach students and parents.
One thing to think about for administrators is the ability to approve which students and parents have access to a school. You may want to give admins and parents the ability to monitor multiple schools, since parents may have students in a couple schools. And maybe adding a way for students and teachers to report problems.
You would of course want to use the notification system on the device so users can get alerts without having the app open.
