About this Project
Safe Signal is an app to better off the community in transportation. Its purpose is to be able to send out a report without having to make a call, which could put you in trouble if the person making you uncomfortable or unsafe sees you making that call. Safe signal does this also by requesting your location and using that to give the operator a better look at what to deal with.

I can see how this could be a really valuable app, especially in a situation where someone is hiding or in immediate danger and can't make a voice call. You did a nice job on the presentation, and it sounds like you did some thorough interviewing of community members. I wonder if you also were able to get feedback from first responders to see what they would like from such an app.
One thing to think about is how to give more information to the responders through the app. For example, you could have prompts to select what type of emergency it is without the need to speak or to write a lot.
