About this Project
This app helps families save money by comparing food prices, offering budget-friendly recipes, and providing AI-powered meal suggestions based on what’s already in the pantry. It reduces waste by tracking ingredient usage, alerting users to low or soon-to-expire items, and even connecting surplus food with charitable organizations. By combining savings, convenience, and community impact, the app makes smarter grocery shopping and meal planning effortless and rewarding.

Professional Feedback
I loved how the research for target user base was thorough and well thought out. The app itself, stemming from good user research was also very thoughtful. I especially liked how the team put medical condition survey as one of the onboarding tasks, since it is sometimes dismissed and it shows how much the team thought about the user experience and user journey of the people using the app. On top of that, market research on competitors (both direct and indirect) was done clearly and with great consideration. As for the app, the variety of features yet the clear and concise feature presentation makes it easy as a user to use it and get to the feature they want without being confused. For deployment and authentication handling (since it will most likely contain sensitive medical information), I recommend trying out AI tools like replit or google firebase. Great job!
