When people get scammed they lose money and they become sad and mad. Our app will get you your money back guaranteed so you won’t be sad and mad.

Oops! I Got Scammed
Very engaging and entertaining presentation and application! I liked the use of AI to develop the persona images as well.
I like how your research informed a good reason why you’re making the app. It would be great if you could include where these statistics are coming from. The community interviews were great as well - I loved the variety in the personas. It would be great if you had a slide synthesizing your insights from the research you did and how that informed the app you created.
For the app itself, it’s very engaging with the various visuals. I would experiment with including more standard buttons with the action text on it (like in the login screen, where now there’s just an image). It would also be great if the prototype could have more areas for the user to interact with the application. For example: the screen where the application asks “Tell Me What Happened” —> where is the user interaction here? I would think the user would type out their problem or maybe select from a dropdown what they’re having an issue with. Include an example of a potential problem, you could pull that scenario from the many personas you’ve created! Similarly, in the “this is what you could do” screen, you could do the same and provide a mock solution based on the problem.
Experiment with different icons like the back button and home button so the user isn’t always reverting back to the login at the end of the flow. Overall, good job, and I look forward to how Oops I Got Scammed progresses!

Online scams is such an important and relevant topic, especially for young people who are constantly online and are often the biggest targets.
