Professional Feedback
The NYC Living team used data driven research to astutely identify two key challenges NYC young people face: finding a job and finding a place to live. By focusing on a narrow user persona, the team was able to address key use cases. The app design uses high data:ink ratios to create simple workflows to solve the fundamental user needs. As a next step, I would focus on deepening the system design - where is the living space data coming from, who is posting internship/jobs, what happens in app when you find a strong internship/living space, etc. Kudos to the team on their great work and I'm excited to see where you take it next!
I overall enjoyed the design of the buildings and logo the living prices in New York are something that many of the youth constantly deal with. I also liked the incorporation of AI as it means of understanding and personalizing what kind of homes would fit each person. However, some points of the presentation could use more work, especially discussing why avoiding homes may be such a difficult process for young adults today, especially in Metropolitan areas, such as New York.
