Professional Feedback
Choosing to take on teen mental health is brave, and the fact that you built this around real research instead of assumptions makes a big difference. Talking to actual users and learning that they did not want something that felt too clinical or too much like therapy is a really important insight, and it shaped your whole solution in a smart way. The idea of pairing an always available AI companion with moderated peer circles addresses something a lot of teens actually feel, which is not wanting to be alone with a problem but also not wanting to talk to a doctor about it. Choosing blue for the color palette to keep things calming was a thoughtful design decision that shows you were thinking about how someone in a stressful moment would actually experience the app. One thing to think about for your next version is building out the automated escalation feature a bit further, since for something this serious, being really clear and clear with users about how and when professional help gets triggered will help them trust the app even more. Kyle, Isaiah, and Diyalyn, this is a project that tackles something real and could genuinely help people your age feel less alone.
