About this Project
Hidden ROOTS. is an educational app that helps people reconnect with their culture, heritage native language and traditional customs. This app provides information to rediscover our identity, ancestry or cultural roots, amongst the African Diaspora. Hidden ROOTS helps you discover stories within your ancestral heritage. Our app offers a DNA test to get started, access to cultural stories and community connections, and an AI chatbot to assist with questions beyond our expertise

This is an amazing concept, and I may be partial just because this incorporates my heritage. Nonetheless, I think that it is wonderful that you are including a DNA test, allowing people to develop connections, and providing lost to history to those from the African Diaspora so that they can reclaim their culture. This is mind-blowing. I especially enjoy that you researched other apps and noticed that they do not focus on language preservation and those wish to understand the language of their ancestors and find ways to revive it. The features of the app are pleasing, the earth tone colors and the colors of Ethiopia or the Pan-African flag. The cultural guide is interesting and offers great facts. I am wondering if users be able to connect here with others or if that be in another location? It is interesting and noteworthy that the app was tested to see how it would perform on both iPhone and Android products. Kudos to you all on that. Many times, that I use an app for personal or work-related reasons, I wonder how it will look on my device compared to others. This is an excellent concept, and I love how you put it together.
