Very clean and organized presentation. I like that you narrowed your goal and focused on supporting users with dietary restrictions who may also have braces. The current interface in the app works well, guiding the user through the steps to add information. Perhaps one change could be to change the colors, making them brighter and more contrasting for alerts or potential issues. However, the color scheme and font choices work well overall.

I love your logo! Is the plant on the first slide part of it? If not, you should remove it, so we will not get your logo confused. Good job on the research. It is important for you to know what the statistics are. You should include more. I like that you kept your target audience in mind; your app design is appropriate for your target. The community interviews was a good touch, but I was a little confused about the braces topic- You should mention it earlier so we are clear about why you are mentioning it. Slide 2 says that the problem is that people do not have access to information- however, information is everywhere. Maybe say they do not know where or how to find information. Your problem statement could be more specific. This may be the slide where you can tie in why you are mentioning braces. It will help things to flow better. Whatever your problem statement says, your app should directly address those issues. Make sure the 2 always match. This app is needed!
I can see how it can help the youth who are transitioning into adulthood. Not everyone has support and this app can give a sense of confidence and independence, just like you mention in the presentation. The app’s easy interface is a PLUS! Great job researching the competition. Make sure your app has something theirs does not. Great job integrating AI into this! We all know AI has a certain reach that can make our tasks quicker and easier. That is a good selling point! Slide 13 was a little confusing; your explanation was very helpful in understanding. Also, near the end of the slide show, you mention a mentor- try talking about that in the beginning. It provides more detail on what this whole process looks like. Your last slide shows me that you were intentional in your designs. You are considering the user and that is important! As the app expands, continue to think of how you will improve your services and stay connected to the needs of your target audience. I suggest utilizing an AI assistant such as ChatGPT as you develop your app further. It can help you to flesh out your ideas, catch typos or other errors, and present in an organized, easy to understand format. Great job! Some people are too embarrassed to ask for help and your app empowers those who need it. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing your project and I wish it was around when I was younger!
