About this Project
H.H.U.G.4Health is an app about healthy food. We learned about human centered design and interviewed users, our data told us an app about healthy food would help our users. In our app people can learn about healthy and unhealthy food, play a game about healthy eating, and use an AI camera to find out if food is healthy. People can also teach the AI camera about new foods.

I love how you all included quantitative data in your process! This is so important for informed design. Overall, this is a really cool app, but it would be good for users to know how you deem something healthy or not. Is the training based on processing or maybe calorie/sodium/sugar levels? Model transparency is super important when bringing AI to users. Overall, really interesting and good research!
What an amazing idea from an equally amazing group of minds - kudos to you all! You've pretty much managed to create an app that is so family & community focused and impactful. I loved the data analysis rationale, the wireframing and gamification of the app. I am in Amazon Health Services, specifically with Amazon One Medical and it's these inspirational projects that help shape better health outcomes...or at the very least, a modification in mindsets, that make incredible differences in people's lives. Well done everyone - you should be very proud of yourselves, I am!
