About this Project
The Go Plan app is designed to help people discover spontaneous activities, meet new people, and make social planning easier and less stressful. The app focuses on solving a growing issue among students and young adults, such as feeling socially disconnected, struggling to make plans, and not knowing what to do with their free time.

Professional Feedback
Thanks for working on and sharing this project. I appreciate how the team behind it came up with the app idea by considering a real problem in their lives, then iterating on it by leaning on talking with potential users. In my experience, it's easier to write software than it is to figure out exactly what the software should do for its users--so kudos on emphasizing problem-definition first! I also think the Figma prototype really helps turn an abstract idea into a real world solution, which is important if you want to recruit people to work on this project or find investors. Finally, because the students expressed a desire to work on this project and share it on the App Stores, I'll offer that it may be useful to look at other IRL social platforms like platforms, see how they evolved, and consider how you could make your app better based on their learnings. Congrats on a well thought-out project!
I really like the confidence of this team and how they approached solving a real-world problem based on their own experiences. The concept resonates with a common challenge many people face when the weekend arrives and they aren’t sure how to spend their time. Instead of defaulting to watching TV or spending hours on their devices, the app encourages people to do something productive, meet new people, build friendships, and engage in meaningful activities.
I especially appreciate how the team recognized the importance of human connection in a time when many of us spend so much of our lives online. The idea feels thoughtful, relevant, and grounded in a genuine user need.
One suggestion I would add is around language handling. Since the app currently includes both English and Spanish, it can sometimes feel a bit confusing when both languages appear within the same flow. It would be better to let users select their preferred language at the start and then ensure the entire app consistently follows that choice. This would make the experience clearer, more cohesive, and easier to navigate.
I also enjoyed how transparent the team was about their process, including their use of AI in creating the designs. Their honesty about what they know, what they don’t know, and where they want to focus their efforts was refreshing. The use of AI has clearly helped create a polished and visually appealing experience.
As the product evolves, it may be helpful to explore similar solutions that already exist in the market and identify opportunities to differentiate the experience. While launching an MVP, it can also be valuable to think through a variety of user scenarios and edge cases to ensure the core experience is as useful as possible from the start.
Overall, I think it’s a great concept with strong potential. I love the idea, appreciate the team’s approach, and was impressed by the quality and polish of the design.
