Professional Feedback

Amazing application and the incorporation of AI into your project! I would love to see more of the research that informed the application. Maybe some metrics? A couple user personas (it could be the student, parents or both!) would also be really helpful.

Your prototype was so well put together from start to finish and I enjoyed going through the click-through. The map with the schools and being able to view the school details was great, and I really liked the feature to favorite the schools. I think what would make this application even better:
- Further developing the profile page - maybe something that a student could include in their profile is interests, or favorite subjects? Or more areas that help inform the app of how well the student-school may fit together.
- This is very nitpick but when viewing the school, the search bar sometimes blends in with the information being shown. If there’s a better way to visually separate the information, or remove the search when viewing the school, that may be a good option.
- I’m getting this weird line that goes through the school information when viewing each school (I don’t know if it’s just my laptop, but any way to possibly troubleshoot this would be great)

Overall I was very impressed! Keep up the good work!
Right off the bat, I can tell your app would be a big success. Choosing a school, whether you're a student or a guardian, is a daunting task that so many people have to face. Simplifying that process and saving users from nights of endless Googling would remove a huge burden and make the experience much more manageable.

I really like the map feature that highlights the locations of potential school options. It's convenient and intuitive. One way to expand on this would be to include transportation information, such as bus routes for grade school students and public transportation options for college students.

The logo you've chosen is fun, memorable, and great for branding. The happy Earth icon works well with the map-based interface, but adding a graduation cap could further reinforce the educational focus of the app and strengthen the "education made easy" concept.

I also want to highlight how fun the loading screen is with the rolling Earth icon. Small details like that help create a positive user experience and make the app feel more engaging.

Giving users the ability to create an account is another great feature. It allows them to save searches, preferences, and personalized recommendations. Additionally, including parent and student reviews on each school's information page would add significant value. Users could hear real experiences from current students and families, helping them get a better sense of each school. This feedback could also improve your AI's recommendations by providing more data for analysis.

One thing that wasn't completely clear to me was the implementation of the AI. I'm assuming it's primarily used in the survey portion to generate the best possible school matches based on what users are looking for. If that's the case, I would recommend emphasizing that more clearly moving forward. Your app is designed to provide clarity and guidance, so it's important that users understand exactly how the AI helps them make better decisions.

Overall, great work! This is a fresh and innovative app idea that addresses a real need and has the potential to make a meaningful impact for students and families.
