About this Project

Our mission is to increase user mindfulness online by providing intuitive tools that track digital footprints, connect social media accounts securely, and deliver thoughtful prompts before users take action. We target digital users who care deeply about their privacy and want to understand the impact of their online behavior. The app empowers individuals to make informed decisions about what they share, helping build a safer and more conscious digital community.

Professional Feedback

The presentation is really well done - especially the way you've articulated the problem statement with your research! It is very similar to what I see in my work meetings.

Awareness is the first step, and I notice you mentioned having prompts to reflect before posting but providing more resources and tools to help you limit your footprint into your solution would help your target audience improve their relationship with social media habits long term.
You all have highlighted an incredibly important issue. People reveal more information about themselves online than they realize, putting their safety at risk. I like that you took the time to conduct in depth research to grasp the magnitude of the problem.

Providing users with statistics on their digital footprint is a great first step to motivate them to be more mindful of their online presence. From here it would be nice to see the inclusion of resources and features to further steer users in that direction. For example, incentives to delete posts or recommendations for IRL activities.
