About this Project
Clear Head is a mental wellness and productivity app designed for teens who struggle to manage stress and stay organized amid the pressures of school, social life, and everyday challenges. The app addresses the growing mental health crisis among young people, where 7 in 10 teens report anxiety and 1 in 3 experience feelings of hopelessness, by combining mood tracking, AI-powered personalization, and a daily planner in one free, easy-to-use tool. Users log their mood on a 1–10 scale, and Clarity, the app's built-in AI chatbot, responds with a personalized meditation or breathing session tailored to how they feel that day, then guides them into their planner so they can finish the day feeling calmer and more in control.

Thanks for sharing your work!
Overall, a good idea that I believe would be super beneficial for young students! Top marks for the presentation and prototype, it was very neat! I'd encourage you to pursue this and incorporate all the next steps that you have identified.

This is a thorough and thoughtful product showcase, from the presentation to the prototype. Your app has a cohesive design and UX that clearly targets the market gap and competitive advantages you described in your slides.
I appreciate that you included a variety of research in your presentation, like the competitive analysis—this is a key step in figuring out how to set your app apart from others. User research is also critical, although even big companies skip it sometimes. Doing research across your audience ensures that you avoid assumptions and biases so that you build what users actually want.
The Clarity AI functionality is a unique and innovative idea. Being able to generate a meditation based on user-specific information is something I’d like to see in the app store just so I can use it!
Something to consider is that I wasn’t able to find the Clarity AI as it’s designed. The mechanism to start the chat looked like a search bar rather than a prompt. Because it’s such a fundamental part of the app, it would make sense to add it to the main navigation.
Your Figma prototype was well-executed and your project really stands out. Excellent work!
