What the Judges are Saying
Your project tackles an important and deeply meaningful topic—addressing racism within communities of color and helping women of color feel confident and empowered in their identity. From a UX perspective, it's great to see a project centered around real human experiences, with the goal of building empathy, education, and pride.
Your focus on storytelling and cultural connection is key. Designing with this kind of purpose helps create a more emotionally impactful user experience. To make the strongest impact, it's important to think about how users will interact with the content. For example:
How do users navigate the stories or messages?
Is there a clear and intuitive structure—like sections, categories, or interactive elements—that makes the content easy to explore?
Is the tone welcoming and inclusive?
The language, imagery, and design should reflect the strength, beauty, and diversity of women of color, while being mindful of different backgrounds and experiences.
Is the experience engaging?
Adding features like personal stories, quotes, art, or even interactive timelines could help deepen users' connection to the topic.
While your goal is powerful, the success of the UX depends on how clearly and smoothly users can engage with that message. Consider how someone using your project for the first time will feel: Will they feel supported, educated, inspired? That emotional experience is at the heart of UX design.
Overall, this project has a strong mission and real potential to create positive change. With more detail around how users interact with the experience—and how it supports and empowers them—you’re on the right track to creating something both meaningful and memorable. Great work!

Hi Kayla, Yara & Anibel, this is a very nice design layout! The purpose of your website is straightforward and has a clear purpose for encouraging women of color.
Based on the way it works in figma & playlab.ai, you wanted your AI to be able to pull all sorts of information on women and their roles in society through the prompts. I liked that I could type in one word and get a ton of different information around that topic that’s different from what I already read.
In the future, this website could develop to do even more and be expanded further into other topics than women’s history. This could be a great learning tool for schools and other students to use for doing research on various topics, for example, world history, science, and others.
Two recommendations I suggest are:
1. Think about how your AI is achieving your goal. How is your AI helping women of color feel more sure of themselves in their skin? Awareness is key, but how do you want that awareness to make someone feel a certain way? Are there features you can add to guide them into being encouraged and empowered by the history of women?
2. Your topic is discussing racism between people of color, and your goal is to make women of color feel more sure of themselves in their skin. Currently, your AI incorporates the history of all women and not just women of color. Think about the approach you want. I think having an option to include all of women’s history in the AI search engine can be an option for you so your website can be doing more than just for women of color but all women in general.
Overall, your team’s website has a great goal and can be expanded to benefit the world in other topics as well! Great job Kayla, Yara, and Anibel, and keep up the good work. I hope your idea can come to life one day and help as many people and more as you envisioned.
