About this Project
Talking Time is an app about friendship. We missed a friend and wondered if other kids would like to talk to friends on the phone. We think having the friends’ page will help because you can add your friend’s picture and number so it’s easy to call. We wanted to help friends talk to each other so we made the talking page with ideas for conversations. When using the app the friends will see who is calling and what the person wants to talk about so they can accept or decline the call. If the friend accepts they will have a video call on the top of the screen and the conversation buttons on the bottom with questions and answers. Everything in our app is Text to speech. On the talking page tap Sonic, we made that conversation page for our prototype. We hope our app will help friends talk to each other.

Your idea to give people some subjects to discuss is a great one. It can really help conversations go smoother and bring people closer together. I have experienced that awkward pause myself where I just don't know what to say, so kudos to you for addressing this!

The 'Talking Time' app is a wonderful idea, built with a lot of heart and a clear focus on helping friends connect and communicate!
It's fantastic to see a project that started from a personal feeling – missing a friend – and grew into a tool designed to help others. Showing your journey from paper wireframes to a working Figma prototype was excellent! Your commitment to accessibility truly stands out. Including features like text-to-speech throughout the app, plus options for color contrast and text size, shows a deep empathy and understanding of diverse user needs and makes 'Talking Time' incredibly welcoming for everyone. I also found the idea of choosing conversation topics beforehand, and allowing your friend to see the topic before they answer the call, to be really innovative and thoughtful!
