About this Project

Take Care of Your Mental is a teen-friendly mental health app
that helps you stay in tune with your emotions and take care
of your mental well-being. With key features as: Daily CheckIns: Opening the app with checking in with how you feel.
Mood Meter: Track your emotions and notice patterns over
time. Journaling: Write freely in a private space to reflect or
release stress. Contact a Therapist: Reach out to a licensed
therapist if you need support. It’s simple, safe, and made for
teens who want to take care of their mental health in a real,
relatable way. I created Take Care of Your Mental to be a safe
space where people our age can actually check in with
themselves and feel supported without judgment.

What the Judges are Saying

Great Job! This addresses a large issue that faces children, teens, and adults alike. I really like how easy it looks to use. The friendly and inviting design will promote a higher usage. I also feel adding the connection to licensed therapists was a very meaningful touch. If someone is struggling the fact that they can see that in the app and find someone to help all in the same app will make people more prone to reaching out a professional. The daily check in is also a useful touch. As busy as we are as a society, having the opportunity to stop and check in with ourselves can be very useful. Wonderful job!
This app is beautifully designed—great color palette, imagery, and element placement. Each screen's function was clear, and nothing felt cluttered.

I encourage you to apply the same design mindset to your presentations. Highlighting the problem you're solving, the rationale behind your features, and hypothesizing how your solution helps will strengthen your pitch. Incorporating elements of your app design into your slides can also make the presentation feel more cohesive.

Kudos, fantastic work!
