About this Project

In the game the player is represented by a teenage girl who has found her way into a maze and now has to collect all of the notebooks stashed in different areas of the maze. The game is simple, the player moves around the maze, collects the notebooks, and avoids the enemy.

What the Judges are Saying

Fantastic use of design tools, with a very creative backdrop for story development! I was interested interested in learning more and found myself wanting to play the game. The backstory was very intriguing - and could be taken further to link to socially-impactful issues that have the potential to resonate with users. My recommendation would be to expand the presentation to make your full idea for the application come alive for the audience. Overall, a very interesting concept!
Your presentation slide deck immediately drew me in—it really set the tone and mood for your game in a compelling way. Your demo video highlighted impressive graphics and reflected the hard work you put into developing the game.

I especially appreciated how your design process included iteration and showed your commitment to creating a realistic and engaging experience for users.

One thing I was curious about was the backstory: Why is the teenage girl collecting notebooks? What’s the significance of the notebooks? And why raccoons—especially zombie raccoons? They’re already a little scary on their own, and making them zombies adds an extra layer of intrigue (and suspense)!

Awesome job overall, you should be really proud of both your game design and the thoughtful process you followed to bring it to life. It’s a great example of engaging, creative storytelling through interactive design.
