What the Judges are Saying

Parker, Xavier & Elliot,

Excellent work! You thoughtfully laid out a very practical problem and proposed a viable solution. It seems a win for all. The teacher has less work, students don't lose the bucks, and it's a technology everyone can use. I was impressed that you worked with stakeholders on this project. Those are people who are directly impacted. That includes your teacher and the app developers. Using a QR code is a great idea. The demonstration with the YouTube video added a real-life scenario to the problem. Making it easy to understand.
Using the school logo and colors in the presentation was a nice touch.

Keep up the great work!
GREAT JOB! I really understood the problem and the solution you proposed. The way you set up the whole presentation was well done. Including that this potentially could become a realy thing adds to the excitement as someone looks through your project. I see you started the brand guidelines. You can give the colors fun names like respectable yellow or another word from your list of postive behaviors. Overall my favorite part was the way you presented it with the real life scenario. Great work.
Great job! You did an excellent job identifying a real problem that affects both students and teachers, and you came up with a creative, practical solution. It’s clear you were thinking about the people who would actually use your system, which is a big part of good user experience (UX) design.

It was impressive to see that you talked to your teacher and even worked with app developers—getting input from the people directly involved shows strong thinking and good planning.

Using a QR code was a smart choice. It’s simple, familiar, and works on most devices, which makes it easy for everyone to use. Your YouTube demo really helped show how the system would work in real life, and it made the idea easier to understand.

Including your school’s logo and colors in the design was a nice touch too—it made your presentation feel polished and connected to your audience.

Overall, this is a well-thought-out and nicely presented project. Keep thinking about how real people use technology, and you’re definitely on the right track!
