About this Project
In this game it will teach people how to stop littering. It will have you sort trash into different trash cans. It will also tell you the effects of littering and how to stop them. These include pollution, habitat destruction and water contamination. Pollution causes the air to become bad to breathe in. Habitat destruction, also known as habitat loss or reduction, occurs when a natural environment is altered to the point where it can no longer support its native species, leading to a decrease in biodiversity and species numbers. Water contamination occurs when harmful substances, like pollutants or microorganisms, enter a water source, making it unsafe for human use or damaging aquatic ecosystems.

What the Judges are Saying
What a great idea to gamify recycling. The click-through prototype, particularly the ability to choose gameplay based on location, was a surprising and engaging feature that offers a novel way to explore the world. The inclusion of a celebration page upon task completion provides valuable positive reinforcement, which is a great touch!
You've clearly highlighted the negative impacts of littering. To strengthen your app's focus, you could dive deeper into why people litter. Do they lack knowledge about what's recyclable, or where facilities are located? Are bins often full? Understanding these specific reasons could help you refine your game. Looking forward, you might consider integrating options for sorting different recycling types and potentially incorporating educational elements directly into the gameplay. You've established a great foundation here!

This is a **"hidden-in-plain-sight"** type of problem that definitely deserves more attention. The concept of turning something as simple as cleaning up into a game is fantastic—it makes the process more engaging and encourages participation in a fun, interactive way.
Feel free to also include resources for the target audience of this app—particularly those interested in learning more about the littering issue. Pointing to case studies of communities that have successfully addressed this challenge could add valuable insights and inspire action.
