What the Judges are Saying
First of all, great work everyone! The greatest strength of your project is that it brings together multiple pre-existing tools and features from separate sites/applications, and puts them all in one place for convenience and ease of use. This helps busy people, like the ones you interviewed, save a lot of time and money as well as mental load.
As I'm sure you all have learned, one of the most crucial components of any app is user experience. When creating a new application, tool, or even physical device it's important to put yourselves into the shoes of the user. For example, I run the youth track at one of the largest cyber security conferences and each year we make a fun electronic badge. To ensure it is the most useful it can be we imagine a theoretical person and give them a name (Alice) and ask ourselves questions about our user and what ways they could interact with our product.
For your project your "Alice" is someone likely to be lower income trying to save money while staying healthy. In this instance you can imagine Alice not only using your app, but also after using it. What other problems can your app fix? One of them could be helping the issue of transportation. Some people don't have access to a car and take a bike, walk, or use public transportation.
With this in mind you can add a feature to your app that allows a filter not only for grocery stores near you, but also ones in biking, walking, and bus distance. I encourage you to use "Alice" while thinking about expanding this project or starting other ones in the future!
Keep up the great work! :)

This project team has tackled a complex topic, providing a wide range of actionable information. The resulting program will be very helpful to the people who use it.
Great job, this will make someone's life very easy in the future to keep up with their lifestyle goals. I like how it brings together all the information you need and combines it in an easy to use app. This is very relevant and could help people achieve their goals with weight loss and nutrition. It would have been nice to have a demo to play with. Keep up the good work.
Zoe, Isamary, Henderson, and Hamilton - I love your ideas and the problems you are setting out to solve with this app! You have done a great job explaining the “problem statement” and explaining how the right solution would be valuable to many people.
Your presentation is very clear and helps me to understand your process. You did a great job selecting someone who is in your target audience to interview and explaining the insights that you gathered! I would love to have seen more details of the questions you asked, as well as any other ideas you explored that didn’t work out (this is always very interesting, and helps to be even more clear about how you came to the solution).
Your wireframes (the app screens) are very clear and demonstrate the personalized user experience that you describe in your presentation. It was also a great touch to consider your app’s logo, illustrations and colors - well done!
