A beautiful presentation of a practical and forward-thinking idea. The creator, Jervin, has a keen sense of just how important it is for our devices to remain safe from cyber attacks AND for us as users to be able to filter out content that is harmful or hurtful for us. I particularly like the percent dashboard Jervin has created that lets the user know how safe their device is. The example "96% Safe" is a great acknowledgment that our phones and computers are never completely safe and that we need apps like this to remain vigilant. A particularly useful feature is the App Locking setting in the app so that users can safely share their phones without worrying about sharing access to all their app. Finally, the "Word Mute" feature is a great idea to offer protection to users who may not want to see posts that use hurtful words or about specific topics. The presentation is crisp and easy to follow along. Really well done!

Very impressive! The presentation and UI/UX design (user interface and user experience) laid out here using high-fidelity wireframes and meaningful icons is first rate! Connecting an app like this to interact with others like twitter, facebook, instagram etc will involve a lot of integration work, which makes this a great candidate for a "Freemium" service, which offers some base features for free and charges for upgrades. A paid upgrade could be the "Word Mute" feature of the app which lets the user filter their content based on a keywords...amazing idea! But keep in mind the amount of text comparisons this would involve is computationally intensive, so your app could earn revenue from both subscription fees and upgrades that are charged per word etc. I know I would pay a few dollars a month for something like that! Lastly, coming from the aerospace industry, I can confidently say the demand for cybersecurity apps like this is only going to rise. Well done!

Wow! I need to go make sure my apps are secured after watching your in-depth explanations – thanks for sharing your idea Jervin to get me moving. I am the Head of Design for an education team at Facebook, and I can truly tell you that your presentation was succinct, well-organized, and branded in a way that valued consistency and clarity over all else! I really appreciated how the visuals of the devices were incorporated throughout with simplicity, how your wireframes and overall colors and type agreed with one another, and how you walked me through your apps process step-by-step. I feel the strongest part of your idea ALSO relies on the "graphic design": the way you organize the list of applications and the extremely easy-to-understand 'red-or-green buttons' placed next to them is so intuitive to the user it seems hard for them to not understand how to protect their data. I can see this idea as being very useful to pitch towards cyber-security / teaming up with another cyber-security app that already has some notoriety in order to have them re-structure their visuals so that they are simpler and cleaner for the user. I'm looking forward to seeing a future privacy app I download incorporate something like this!! Way to go!! 🙌 🙌 🙌

Jervin, your attention to detail here is very impressive! With features like third-party authentication, the settings menu and rescan button, it’s clear that usability was at the forefront of your design. I can imagine Smart App Lock being helpful to anyone who wants to share their device with a friend without having to worry about prying eyes. The “mute” function (ability to hide certain words) is a big winner; some apps like Twitter have this setting built in but I like that your app centralizes the feature for multiple social media apps. Finally, major props for your overall creativity, leveraging colors and specialized UI elements that made your presentation pop.
