About this Project:

This project is suppose to advocate for animals specifically marine animals because like any other animal they are victim to human pollution. The goal of the game is to collect or save as many fish as you can within your oxygen tank limit. The idea of my project was inspired by retro designs like the maze from Pac-Man.

I really enjoyed how you used the particular sounds for the game. The music was very nostalgic and brought me back to when I played those underwater levels on Mario Bros as a kid. The gameover sound just made me want to keep trying and beat my former score. The instructions on how to play were clear and concise. Letting us, the players, know that there was a twist in the form of gravity was a nice touch which also communicated to us that while the layout looked like Pac-Man, it didn't completely play like Pac-Man. The Notes and Credits really let me understand how the project came together and how the creator was inspired. Thank you, I enjoyed it very much!

Great game idea and love the message behind it! The use of an oxygen tank is clever and puts a fun twist on a classic arcade game. I'm impressed with the visuals as well. Keep up the good work!

I love how well rounded your project is. You have paid attention to the user's experience with what you have designed- both visual and auditory. It's cool how through playing the game as the underwater explorer you become empathetic towards the situation through embracing your role in trying to save the fish. The gravity added a nice level of constraint and kept it challenging. I think that games are a great educational tool. It would be super cool to almost have a series of games exploring different environmental issues. I also loved reading the notes and credits to learn a bit more about your process. Well done.

A very challenging game, interesting how you set up a timer, but in the form of an oxygen tank as to fit with the overall theme of the game. Your use of the Pac-Man maze style design really fits well into what you want the gameplay to feel like, I only wish there were more levels and variations of the map. Amazing choice of music, I always liked the Super Mario underwater music. Good work!
