About this Project:

“We can’t help everyone, But everyone can help someone”

-Ronald Reagan

I was inspired by this one episode of Liza on Demand where she uses an app called task it to help her find jobs. Improve communication for people who need personal, physical or mental help.

I like the idea of connecting people who need help with those who want to give it. It's definitely a clever idea, I'd like to see more about how you would differentiate the app from other similar ones. There's a big market for this sort of app these days!

This is a great app! I love that there are various services that you can search for and select. I also love the icon and name of the app as it is very welcoming!

The interface seems pretty user-friendly; nice large buttons that are clear about where they take you. Nice set of lots of different options, and the integration with maps is very helpful for finding directions.

When you are asking for information from users, it is always helpful to question why you need it. Why does this app ask for gender? Does that matter for the sorts of jobs people will do? As a non-binary person myself I wish there was a non-binary option for "gender" if you do decide you need to ask it - and probably add a text box for people to self-describe.

I would love to hear more about your process! The questions you ask on the process slides are good ones; I'd love to hear their answers!

I love the logo! It's very friendly and warm.

The design of both your logo and your slide deck really communicates a lot about the app. Through images, you have really captured the spirit of helping hands and mutual aid. Your idea of connecting people who need help to those who can give it seems particularly important in our pandemic moment. I'd love to know a little more about your design process: how did you come up with this idea? Were there experiences and stories that inspired you? I also appreciate the way you approach the need for help without judgement; this attitude is so needed in our culture. This app has a lot of potential.

I can see a lot of potential for this app. The app has a simple design and the user interface looks simple, which is a positive aspect. This makes it easier for people of various age groups to use the app. It can also serve as a way for people to network and make connections with other people from varying backgrounds.
