About this Project

My project addresses the issue of what to wear when going out. When your confused about what to wear you can go on the app and try to find whatever matches. This way it’s less of a time consumer and you don’t have a headache or worry about being indecisive. I came up with my idea by thinking of what fun and creative things I can make an app out of. I also like dressing up and wearing different kinds of styles for clothing so I thought of this. It’s evolved because at first I was just thinking about what to match up and then I started thinking about how the system of the app should be set up.


If I could develop it you would be able to upload any clothing or accessories from either online or take a picture of your own and the system would pair up whatever looks fashionable based on it’s own search system. You would also be able to view what other people have posted on the app under their own accounts and get your own ideas from there.

What the Judges are Saying

This is a really fun app, but there are several like it out there. I would like to see how this one sets itself apart from the others. I like the ability to upload my clothes so the app can provide some combinations I did not think of.
This is a well thought out idea. You can tell you're passionate about fashion! I really liked how you could both take pictures and link to websites to submit your clothes. You thought about multiple scenarios and it shows. I also liked comparing your choices against other ones that people had made before. Clearly you spent a lot of time research how this could be helpful. I even thought about you setting up a store for accessories on the app in case I want to buy something I don't own yet. You could show the cheapest price too. See, your idea got me thinking! It's very good
Hi Devani, what a fun idea you have put together! I love that you are making it fun and easy to mix and match fashion. What a genius idea to upload your own clothes and the system will pair up something for you. It is almost like having your own private stylist! To expand on the idea further, I would consider how might the system get the information to do the match up - this is tapping into data science and machine learning to teach the system to offer the most successful match up. It could also be fun to get famous stylists to come guest edit the match up. WHAT FUN!
Very good idea! I think your idea is in a really interesting space, where you can really lean into the gaming feel. When I saw I immediately thought of dress-up games, if that's what popped into my head think about how you can use that to your benefit.
