“Bed Bound and Beyond”

About this Project:
We chose to help the people with limited mobility because there's a lot of people who are no longer able to go outside and live their every day lives because they can't get out of bed. This app will assist people with limited mobility or who are bed bound by calling for help when needed, grocery shopping, bed control, and other types of help for indoor and outdoor needs.
When we created the app, we thought of what everyday activities we take for granted and are hard for people who aren't as limber or can't move much. Like shopping, or cooking, or cleaning and picking up things. Some of our ideas were from individual members of the group, but some of them turned out better when we worked together, like MAIDEN™ or FAC™ /Find A Cargo
We are happy with the way our app turned out because we liked it and felt like our hard work paid off. Iit took about a week to get that done and we did go for a little bit more extra help. We helped each other along the way so that's why it came out so well.
If we had more time to refine our app, we would like to add more activities for the person to do. We would add a drawing part or a part where you can watch T.V. Shows that you can't find on regular T.V/Cable. The app is overall good by itself but adding these things can make the app even better.

This is so great! I love how multifaceted this app is. You have been so innovative and thoughtful with the features that you are providing. Most importantly you are really thinking about your user and putting yourself in their shoes to understand their need. You are empowering people! I wonder how we might add some personal touches to features in the app. For example, maybe users can set a list of their grocery staples with bread, milk etc. That way they can just select the already created list and add a few more items instead of having to recreate the list every time. It might also be worth exploring how this app might connect people who are in similar situations. While not everyone may want to interact, perhaps there are people who are lonely. Maybe you could have a feature to meet new people who are also bed-bound. You guys work great as a team! So commendable. Keep up the great work.

It's all about optimism! The positive attitude, design, and colors of this app and the presentation are awesome! Too often, products for less-mobile people are presented in dark, doom and gloomy ways -- but not Bed Bound and Beyond! Your love and respect for the user and your enthusiasm for this product come because of the bright colors, fun app design, and positive presentation. Starting with Ruff is awesome -- everyone benefits from loving pets, but you understand that it can be difficult for less mobile people to care for a dog full time -- so you've created a rental model. Bed, Bound & Beyond... what a clever name!! I can definitely see an app with this title be a success! This app contains quite a few features that most bed-bound people (and those that aren't), can choose and use at their will and discretion. To be able to send a cook, or baker to your home to cook whatever it is you want to eat... or to be able to rent a trained dog for as long as you need it... or to request a maid... ingenious! And then, to top it off... your company has a high-tech, state-of-the-art bed system... I WANT ONE OF THOSE!! But really, overall clever and nicely designed!! Congrats!!

Congratulations on all your hard work. I am a person who suffers from CFS or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Degenerative disc disease. My vitamin levels are depleted. After being busy i become very exhausted. I am mostly in bed. This is a great app. I am amazed that a collectove group of middle schoolers could create an app to help people such as myself with disabilities. Very smart and intuitive. Never get discouraged and always move that bar farther and farther. Continue to push yourselves. You can accomplish all things through Christ who stregnthens you. It does not matter the color of your skin or where you grew up nor what grown ups say you reach the stars.
