“Animal Rescue”

About this Project:

My project addresses the importance of being responsible animal advocates. I started off by thinking about what kind of game I can make like a battle-style game, rpg game, quiz game, etc. When I decided I was going to make a quiz-like game, I thought about what animals to use for the riddle games. After I came up with the riddles I designed the UI for the game. Finally, I went on to design the characters for this riddle game. You are given a riddle and you must choose the right answer to save the animal.

I love anything that turns social action into a game, and the effort put into the artistry was clear.

You are clearly a very talented artist! I loved your game art. I also loved how you told the process of making this game, including that it wasn't your original plan. Sometimes our original plans don't work out, but it doesn't mean we can't make something great. Keep going!

One of my favorite parts of your project is not only the design of your lead character but also how you showed your sketches as you worked to refine your character design. The attention to detail of this character is excellent. It connects well to your overall theme. I wish you had more time. This is a thoughtful start and would be interested to see what would have happened if you were able to work with your ideas further. Did you think about how you could use your character and story to connect the riddles to your animal conservation theme even more? Might be something to think about if you work on this idea further. Thank you for sharing and keep drawing, designing, and thinking.

I like how you got creative with your work. You used a character to make it seem realistic as if we were really playing a game. This is very interesting.
