About this Project

Our goal is to inform the people about the dangers and cons drugs bring into human life and ways to stop addiction. The primary goal is achieving and maintaining abstinence from the substance of abuse. This is true for many patients who seek treatment. This goal focuses on complete sobriety, free from any substance use. It forms the foundation for a healthy and sustainable recovery journey.

What the Judges are Saying

The team has taken on an important and socially relevant topic, and it’s commendable to see such a thoughtful approach to raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. The inclusion of planning materials demonstrates a clear commitment to the project and a structured design process. The overall concept is impactful, and the message has the potential to resonate with a wide audience. With some refinements in visual hierarchy and readability, this site could become a truly powerful educational tool. Great job tackling a challenging issue with empathy and intention.
The Cons of Drugs robustly outlines the manners in which drugs can negatively impact people and their communities. The project team did an immense amount of research and leveraged their design skills to present the information in an engaging way to readers. Furthermore, the team has a clear vision of how to develop the web page with more information. Kudos to everyone involved and I'm excited to see where you take this next!
Alghough the topic of drugs is a hard one to take on and often difficult to talk about, I think that simply talking about the cons and not addressing the larger picture of why people turn to drugs - depression / abuse / poverty, etc is something that needs to be further explored. If those issues were solved than drug use would be so minimal that the discussion would not need to be had at all. I think a stronger project could be to profile why people turn to illicit drugs and how to combat this before drug use even begins.
