About this Project

In our modern day society, it can be difficult to find affordable
and accessible necessities (such as clothes, food, healthcare,
etc...). RIFA helps with that. Aimed towards newly immigrated
peoples, RIFA is a personalized navigation app that allows for
those who struggle financially to locate and access
humanitarian needs at prices that match their budget.

What the Judges are Saying

This app has the potential to make a major impact at this very moment. It provides a wealth of information that can help improve the daily experiences of a marginalized group, and the simple, user-friendly interface helps reduce the barriers of access to that information.
I think the app has the potential to make huge inroads in low and impoverished communities. This seems simple enough that anyone from the ages of 10-70 can use, seems to have easy functionality and would connect anyone to the local community. I would add if there were any city inspired events or local law forums so that people can find ways to stay involved in the community.
Your project takes on a meaningful mission - making it easier for immigrants to find resources tailored to their needs. That's an important and commendable goal!

The user interface design is very clear and thoughtfully arranged. The survey and map features show that you're thinking about how people will interact with the app in a personalized and accessible way, and including multiple languages is a wonderful touch.

To make your project even stronger, think about how you'd gather and update the information in the app, and how users would get real-time, relevant results. Adding more explanation or examples of how it works in real life could really help your audience see the full picture.

Great work and keep building on this impactful idea!
