About this Project
We created an app that tackles the lack of job opportunities and resources for new immigrants, our app provides a platform where users can get to know their new neighborhood, access helpful resources and find jobs according to their skill set. The goal of our group's app is to aid immigrants in finding jobs while providing certification and training opportunities. Our app will help us achieve this task by including UX that is easy to understand and being accessible to those with hindering disabilities and language barriers.

This project was very well thought out and executed. It was really great to see all the resources the team put together to explain their project and thought process. I thought the progression between the mock up drawings and the actual mocked up screens was great. It saw that the focus was not only on the purpose of the app, but also how people would interact with it. I also thought the intent was to serve a great purpose and fill in a gap for people who are new to the NYC area and are trying to become more integrated into the community. I thought it was great to see that the team considered different languages and ways to be ADA compliant. It seemed like the group started with one idea and was able to really expand on that idea to give a full product! Great work!
