About this Project
We created an app to give healthy and quick recipes ideas to busy families. Our main audience, parents, can search for healthy meals and get recipes and local grocery store pricing for ingredients.

This project is an impressive example of visual and ux design of a solution focused on helping its users in a meaningful way. I applaud the team's employment of user research and user-oriented design thinking.i could absolutely see myself using an app like this! There are actually companies working to implement very similar solutions in concert with government health and nutrition agencies to help especially families on limited incomes or food assistance purchase healthier options than fast food. What a great real-world design choice! It would be great to have seen more description of the functionality of the application - how it works in addition to the pictures and stated goals. Does it produce a shopping list to simplify getting from multiple recipes to a simple list for the store? How does it help parents save time? Does it help them save money and eat more nutritiously as well? How?

Really great presentation that clearly shows the steps you went through to design this app. Excellent work on gathering information first before starting your design. Great work on the storyboarding for your app - this is a really important step in the development of apps. You have done a lot of work to think through the design of many elements of the app.
As a busy parent myself, I love the concept of this app. It would be great to see designs for some possible next steps like creating a grocery shopping list based on the recipes I pick. And, in the future, thinking about ways to add recipes or mark favorite recipes. Great job!
