About this Project

On this project we decided to create an app that can help people find food that they are able to eat. If the user is looking for a specific food they want to eat without a certain ingredient our app will help them. Users will be able to search for good alternatives for foods they might not be able to eat because of allergies or religious reasons.

What the Judges are Saying

Amazing way to help others with something as serious as allergies. Very good information and very easy to navigate.
I love the pictures.
I would love to use this for my child. It would be nice if there was some way to automatically import my child’s health data to automatically have allergens and back ups made available. Nice work though.
Great project. I can see the need for this in the community. As a person with food allergies, I hope this does well and expands on the food list.
The target user and problem to be solved are articulated crisply and clearly. As someone who grew up as a vegetarian and with a kiwi allergy it was easy for me to understand the outcome this product is trying to achieve. AI could really supercharge how impactful this product could be so I'd love to see from the team how they might incorporate it (e.g., take a picture of a menu to get guidance on what dishes to avoid).
This is a great idea for those who have food allergies and can find alternatives. Many children may have food restrictions due to their religion and providing a “backup” for them to eat something else is just awesome! I also loved how you guys used the feedback to make it even better!
