About this Project:
Our app addresses the problem of food waste. Restaurants throw away a lot of food at the end of the day. We thought about ways to reduce this waste. We researched environmental issues and decided it was important to try to reduce food waste. We interviewed people and found out they were also interested in this and wanted to know where they could get food at a reduced rate. Users of our app can find restaurants that sell discounted food at the end of the day.

Feedback from the Judges:
So many people would benefit from an app like this. I've often wondered myself why restaurants dispose of so much edible food when there are so many hungry families all across this city and country. This app is an awesome work in progress. I'd love to see it implemented in the real world! Oh and I LOVE the name of your app!
The name of your app is very interesting. It reminds me of a song called "Yum Yum Yum Yum Burrito." I really appreciate how clean and user-friendly the app looks. It's interesting that you used paper prototypes to develop the design. My feedback would be to minimize the amount of text, as people generally have a low attention span and prefer not to read too much. Instead, focus on making the app intuitive and easy to use.
I love the concept of this app because many restaurants throw away edible food at the end of the day if no one takes it. Instead, they could use your app to list available food, allowing those in need or organizations to collect it. This would be incredibly helpful. I am excited to see how this app will be implemented and how it can help distribute excess food to families in need.
Overall, it's a great concept with a lot of potential for positive impact.
