About this Project:

This project is about gamers who have limited hand mobility and cannot enjoy games that use controllers, keyboards, touchpads, and touch. We made a computer software program Voice Control Reaction. We need to add it to more devices and offer the app in more languages.

It had evolved from being Voice Attack, Voice Reaction, and many other ideas and we finally came up with “Voice Control Reaction”

Our project works by a person with limited hand mobility saying what they want to do in the game by connecting your phone to the other device.

Our voice goes beyond our words. For example, humans are capable of using their mouths to express sounds beyond words we can enunciate; we can alter pitch, bass notes, the time intervals, etc.

How this technology is implemented beyond using basic game commands such as forward, back, left, right and/or attack is something that could only be driven by keen insight and is open for speculation in its current form.

This is a great idea and addresses a population that is commonly left out of the gaming conversation. I suggest doing a review of the competitive landscape in assistive technologies, there may be some good ideas that can inspire you.

Amazing idea, Tevin, Kye, Kylan, and Shafayat. I think your idea can help those with mobility issues and eventually assist them in interacting with technology meaningfully. It is great that you are thinking of this user group and connecting them with ways to engage with tech. I encourage you to consider how your software will stand out or is different from other software that is already available. Nice work!

I appreciate that you're thinking about people who may not currently have as many opportunities to participate in gaming. It would be interesting to understand how voice software can communicate with programs quickly enough to be successful in gaming. I encourage you to keep thinking about the additional uses that this kind of app could have and if it could be useful for other audiences as well.
