About this Project:

Our app helps kids to avoid staying too long on their devices and encourage spend more time outside.

We discovered our problem when one day when we went to the park, all of us were walking with our families and we noticed kids on their devices and not playing in the playground or playing any sports.

Our project is called Technology timers. It an app that helps to take away less screen time.

Its help us to take away less screen time for kids, so kids could play outside.

The issue was kids being to long on the devices. kids doesn’t play outside. When they go outside they are playing the phones.

Our idea was involved from seeing many kids glue to their phones.
We use figma to design our app
Our app is designed to help kids get more screen free time.

Playing outside with others kids could always be fun instead of playing the devices.

We want to have kids playing outside instead of playing with their devices. We want them playing with people and family members.

Taking time away from devices is so important! Play and social activities are great for everyone, and especially for kids. This project does an excellent job at framing the problem space. It was an interesting choice to include games, which would bring kids back to the device after the time set aside for in person play was over. Maybe there's an opportunity to think about including games that can be played with other people in the same environment to add another element of human interaction. Great job!

This app recognizing the need to take breaks from devices is a creative solution to a big problem! I also love how you incorporated trivia games so that if students are on their devices, they are learning! Overall, this is a wonderful idea that is much needed. I think many teachers, parents, and school leaders would appreciate your creation! Excellent work!
