About this Project:

This app was made to help people deal with idleness caused by depression, anxiety and other mental health illnesses.

Our team of great digital designers came together to find a common problem within our areas. The biggest of those problems was laziness, leading us to make our app Practice Perfect.

We’ve spent countless hours wireframing our app to make it as much of a realistic application as possible until we have the funds and experience to make this mock app real.

Makes Me Think

Feedback from the Judges:

- Good, unique concept about idleness and laziness. It made me want to get out of my office chair and DO SOMETHING!
- Would have liked to have seen research supporting the app concept - why lazy people will use the app and get value from it.
- Strong and engaging presentation in the video telling the story of how the concept was identified and how the app will work - how lazy people can be led to do something to change their behavior.
- I want to meet the person who can do the 10,000 piece puzzle - that's a level of dedication that I'd love to have!

Love how you start the app with an important note for the public! It's so great to have this note that helps us acknowledge that laziness or boredom is not necessarily because of a person's lack of energy to do things, it can be a mental illness.

I also love the amount of different things the user can work on/learn about in the app. I'm very curious about your color choices. Black and white often gives me an image of bland and boringness before I go into the content so I'm a bit surprised to see that an app to solve laziness and boredom is black and white.

Would also love to recommend that you add a place for feedback within the app so users can identify which area they like the most and which helped them the most. Maybe a prerequisite to using the app and a post-survey after each activity could help.
