“Ocean Adventures”

The game that I have created represents a major issue that is happening worldwide. Everyday, the oceans around us are getting more and more polluted with garbage and plastic, endangering the environment and the sea life around it. My game, Ocean Adventures, brings emphasis to the situation in a fun and interactive way. I was inspired to create a game about the ocean because I love the ocean and sea life. During the summer time, my family and I like to go to the beach. I came up with an idea that would bring emphasis specifically to Ocean pollution. By doing this, I decided that I wanted to make a game that involves the user clearing up plastic and trash from the waters to save ocean life. I used a website called figma to create a storyboard. I coded my game in the app lab on Code. Org. In order to play my game, the user has to hover over the avatar, which is a scuba diver of their choice. If the avatar lands or makes contact with the plastic, they lose a life! As they gain more points, they would clear more and more of the ocean.
