About this Project:

The problem that we face is that, not a lot of people can find good quality courts and that too many courts or dirty or broken

We discovered this problem by being at different courts, with different upsides and downsides.

We interviewed Tuari and Edrick and which they both said some courts didn't have nets also some had cracks in the floor and when some do have nets they’re not fully installed.

Our project shows basketball courts in your area.

What does it do? It allows people to play basketball who don't have a court near them or don't one in area

There was to many different types of courts near us so we propose an app that will identify courts near you, let you interact with other ballers to schedule pick up games, report court conditions to the parks department, and raise awareness about safety concerns at local courts.

This is a really helpful and practical idea. Have you considered expanding it to other sports like baseball, soccer, or tennis? Or expanding it to find other people to play with? There is just so much potential where this app can grow.

This is a great and straightforward app that will help students like you! I love that the app is straightfoward and easy to navigate.
Here are a few ways to help get it to the next level:
- could you expand to other sports/field types?
- can users submit photos to update the court photos if there is new damage/repairs?

When thinking about your project, also consider that apps both have "uses" and "greater missions" that are connected but not the same. The use of this app is to find the right court, but maybe the greater mission is to help bring together sports lovers, or help kids get the fitness they need to stay healthy! Don't forget how an app like this plays into a much bigger picture!

Keep up the amazing work, you did a great job :) 🏀

I really love this idea and its unique concept. The features you added, like being able to review the conditions of the court and meeting others for a pickup game are all thoughtful and serve real world needs. Well done!
