About this Project:
Our app tackles environmental issues, specifically littering, within our community. Inspired by the noticeable trash on our streets during walks home from school, we were motivated to find solutions to reduce and manage litter. Our app, I-Garbo, helps users locate nearby garbage bins, recycling centers, and disposal facilities for household waste. Additionally, it identifies garbage "hot spots" where litter accumulates frequently. Whether it's everyday trash or recyclable materials, I-Garbo guides you to the nearest appropriate disposal location, making it easier and more convenient to keep our community clean.

Feedback from the Judges:
Great idea! Rewarding people for picking up litter is awesome. Especially since it can help them build the habit of doing it along the way. A suggestion might be to get companies to sponsor the rewards, in the same way they some companies sponsor highway clean up. Imagine, "this clean neighborhood brought to you by Target". Otherwise it is a good focused idea.
I love that you noticed the problems and worked toward finding a solution. I have walked blocks with my dog's waste to dispose of it. I would download and use this app on my phone for sure. Excellent job!
