About this Project:
Our project addresses mental and emotional health with therapy, wellness checks, and methods people can use to brighten up their health.
Our process started by noticing a major problem our school faced. We noted that feeling comfortable talking about our emotions was a struggle so we decided to focus on mental and emotional health. Our design has evolved by seeing ux designs so people can see how the app works and don't have a difficult time navigating around. We evolved it by using other mental/physical apps as reference to a friendly ui design. Finally we combined the two and were able to get the finished

Feedback from the Judges:
- This project provides an approach to address a key real-world problem for the intended audience.
- The presentation content shows a persuasive command of the topic, including a key issue - the discomfort students have talking about mental health and emotions. The team identified the differences between mental and emotional well-being.
- The deck was easy to read, and discussed how the team had audited other applications and real-world mental health methods.
- I would have liked to see more creative output of the strong concept, in a video walkthrough, design, application, or next steps.
I look forward to seeing how this concept is realized and used by the intended audience.

Hi, Manisha, Jillian, Jazlene, Nickte! Thank you so much for tackling such an important issue. I really appreciated your explanation about why this topic was relevant to you, and your thorough research on the subject. When developing a new tech project, it's important to show how your technology can help support behavior (for instance, is there a way that technology could remind people to take some of the mindfulness actions you recommend on slide 3?) I’m excited to see where this project takes you!
