About this Project:
My project addresses the challenge of sustainability and using the resources around you to your advantage in situations of limited supply, emphasizing the importance of community interconnectedness for resilience. The idea stemmed from recognizing the need for sustainable practices in finding vegetables and necessities during crises. It evolved through brainstorming and research, focusing on individual and community resilience. The project would showcase scenarios where players manage limited resources and collaborate with other players to build a thriving community. It creates strategic thinking and teamwork while promoting sustainable living and community advocacy.

Feedback from the Judges:
I love this project! You did an amazing job gamifying one of the most pressing issues of our time, sustainability, and incorproating sleek UI/design elements to make your mission fun and engaging for users to participate in. The design is fun and inviting, the mission is clear, and your building process seems very carefully thought out.
Getting your project to the next level:
- Consider adding information about each plant featured in the app and instructions on how people can grow their own sustainable garden in real life.
- This could eventually extend to a community where users share their gardens/plants, both virtual and IRL, giving users another reason to stay engaged.
- How can your messages of resilience and managing limited supply be further conveyed? What new features/growth could help convey your eco-friendly message more clearly and powerfully?
- I love the style guide that you built/fonts that you chose! Keep being consistent with incorporating them throughout every touchpoint/detail of this project so that users always know that they're using your product :)
This is so great! Please keep working on it.
I hope to see it on an app store near me very soon :) good luck!!!

The idea of the project definitely struck a cord with me as it is very important for people not to just understand where they can get fruits and veggies, but how to grow them as well. Having communities come together in the ways that farmers do is a splendid idea! The game itself is very straight forward and reminds me of some aspects from Animal Crossing. Keep at it!
Hi Tanisha -- what a fun and clever way to address both sustainability and community development! You really delivered a fun and engaging experience with your game. As you continue to further the idea, I would encourage you to think about ways to bring the learnings from the game into real life to deepen the impact. Thank you so much for your creativity, and I cannot wait to see where you take this project!
