About this Project:
New York City suffers from an epidemic of expensive housing to a shortage of housing for many low-income and impoverished residents in the city. Gravite aims to solve these issues by using reliable and accessible use of an app to provide applications for housing and assistance.
Several apps are for housing, however, none of them solve the true issue for many low-income folks. Gravite stands alone to combat and help those find methods to find, fix, and provide proper and comfortable housing to those in need. We came up with several ideas until we made a simple yet powerful mock-up that makes it possible for everyone can use it.
If it was possible, it would be a team of developers, agents, and brokers. Developers would listen to the community so they can add, fix, and make a better-functioning app for those who use it. Agents can connect and match users to brokers. Brokers can upload and verify users’ needs and range to suitably find a home. Moreover, by provides a simple way to fill in necessary documents for local, city, state, or federal applications to find free or low-rent housing to make it quick and easy.

Great concept. The target audience was a little confusing regarding homeless and low income (2 different populations). Maybe also think about how the homeless would be able access the app, but overall good job!
This project has a good intent to help with the homlessness problem in New York City. It would be great to see some additional data from the field research.
This concept definitely helps to bring awareness to the issue of finding affordable housing in NYC. Your idea is a creative take on how we could start to alleviate the issue by increasing access and awareness of housing options. I would have liked to see more mockups demonstrating how the app would help users fill out difficult forms. Overall I am impressed by how creative this idea is!
