About this Project:
ECA is an app created to help employees when it comes to communicating with each other. Employees can report harassment anonymously, check their team’s calendar, access emails, as well as check their payment stubs for free. Employers can also contact their employees for urgent emergencies or for last minute schedule changes. This helps new employees stay connected within their working community.

You did an excellent job uncovering a real pain point for employees today and developing an innovative solution. I especially like how you supported your idea with research and competitive analysis. As designers, we put ourselves in the shoes of our customers and you did exactly that. The features that you built into your app answer specific challenges for employees today. Did you speak with any potential users? If so, you could add that into your pitch to show where the pain points came from. Quotes from potential users can be very persuasive. Great job.
Solving a real problem that someone you know has faced makes this app idea really powerful. I would love to see a prototype version of this app running! Consider focusing on solving just one or two problems really well! There might be some features that distract from the original problem + solution.
This is really a great idea for an app as it addresses what is often the root cause of many problems in the workplace - communication! And I am impressed with the work you did to research information on sexual harassment. It is clear that you were motivated by your own experiences plus those close to you who experienced harassment in the workplace. You also took time to look at what other tools are already out there which is very thoughtful so that you do not re-invent something that already exists. I really like how thoughtful you were about adding the capabilities of reporting harassment anonymously. As a next step, it would be great to think about how you could also add links to resources, like materials and other places to call for support outside the workplace, to help someone who is feeling harassed. If people are feeling uneasy about reporting harassment, maybe more resources and help would give them enough confidence to submit a report. The skills you used to put together this project - researching your topic, analyzing competitors, and laying out your ideas in a thoughtful manner - are great foundational skills for your future career!
