About this Project:
The problem is that kids need to go outside more. This app is for kids that like animals and are interested in them. We saw that many animals are endangered, and their dangerous to the community.
The animal that inspired us to make this app is the lantern fly which in the last couple of years has overpopulated.
Our project is called Creature Catcher.
Our project gets kids that like different creatures to go outside and educate them about the creatures.
Creature Catcher was created to educate kids and teach them about all types of species, endangered or invasive and what to do.
Our idea evolved by seeing the chinese lantern bug and then thinking if we can make kids go outside and educate kids more about craters.
We used figma and we used other apps to give us ideas
Our project works by taking a picture of a creature and then the app giving information about.
Creature catcher is going to help the environment because it’s goal is to educate kids on bug and they will learn more about endangered species.
If we had more time we would add educational videos about the species.

Great work team! I really like this idea and glad to see how you put the education concept into the solution. The UX mockup is very clear and I also like your thought process! The collection screen and award feature are very interactive and make it more fun for kids to learn while play. Keep innovating!
This app could not only get kids outside, but adults too! I have seen similar apps for birds and plants, but not creatures. I like your idea of adding videos about the creatures so that kids can learn more about them. This could also be used by science teachers to make learning more fun for their students. I can see this app helping farmers too if they see creatures in their crops, and it would help them know if the creature is going to cause any damage. What a great concept!
