Hi Isabelle!

Nice work! I usually leave design feedback with a quick video, so I created one for you. It highlights some of my favorite parts of your project, and some next steps to keep improving.

Here’s a link to the video - https://www.loom.com/share/12662491d7564bbca8baad1dfb58be1d?sid=554222b6-7b2c-4ed8-ae6e-2b35adbf4fa2

I also included some key points from the transcript for you to check out below.

Transcript: Hey Isabelle, I hope you're having a great day! My name is Joe, the founder of Bitesize UX, and I'm a designer and the judge providing feedback on your climate change project. I took a look at your presentation and have some thoughts on what you're doing well and areas for improvement. I hope this feedback helps you continue to develop your skills in app design and create some impactful projects!

First, the topic you've chosen is extremely relevant and important. Climate change is a significant issue with lots of opportunities for positive impact. While there are many apps and websites addressing climate change, your approach to educating people and providing the tools/inspiration to take action is a great start.

One highlight from this project is your clear explanation of climate change and its issues - You've done a good job laying out the problem and offering solutions. However, I'd love to see your app go a step further by incorporating interactive features that help users take action.

For instance, consider designing a feature or game that rewards users with points for taking small steps to reduce their carbon footprint. This could include daily habits like turning off lights, using public transportation, or other environmentally friendly actions. Making these tasks fun and engaging can motivate users to adopt sustainable practices.

An example to consider is the CitiBike app, which makes it easy for users to find and return bikes, promoting biking as a sustainable transportation option. Similarly, you could create features that simplify and encourage eco-friendly actions, making it easier for users to incorporate these habits into their daily lives.

Overall, you've done a good job outlining the problem and proposing solutions. Keep building on this project by adding interactive elements that encourage users to take practical steps toward reducing their carbon footprint. I look forward to seeing how you develop this further! Great job, Isabelle, and good luck with your project! Have a great day.

Great choice of topic - you've chosen an important issue to cover and provided some useful information to the reader. The breakdown into three sections for what, why, and how makes the information easy to digest and the inclusion of references at the end helps bolster your case. Great!
