About this Project:
Our project addresses the issue of light pollution and how it prevents people living in cities from seeing stars. If we teach people about this issue, maybe in 50 years or so we could see nebulas in cities. The app works by giving the reader information and tips on how to help reduce light pollution to fix this issue.

Feedback from the Judges:
This is a really interesting project! I hardly hear about the subject and glad you chose to take it on. Educating users is so important and the app does a really great job. Showing your design process is super important and shows you worked hard. I love the images in the presentation where you show the side by side comparison of light pollution and think it'll be great to incorporate that into the app. Thanks for making me think!
Hi team. I really enjoyed learning about the light pollution problem and your app that's aimed at solving it. Overall, I liked the visuals you used to tell the story, and I really liked the design process slide. I'd recommend providing a written explanation of what's on that slide, as it will help the reader better understand the steps you took to arrive at your prototype. Overall, this was a solid presentation. Well done!
I didn't appreciate the stars and being able to see them until I moved to a different city with less light pollution. It's one of those things you don't notice until you see it again. I love the idea of how we can all conserve energy better. I would maybe expand your app to include local camping grounds and other parks where people can go stargazing and are not affected by light pollution. Seeing is believing and it's hard to convey "how bad things are" until they have something to compare it to.
