About this Project:

My project is called “Cleanup Chopper” and the user inputs their name and collects trash flying a helicopter over the ocean with a net. The goal is to use the net to catch all the trash and win the game! This is to raise awareness for the ongoing issue of trash buildup in our oceans harming the wildlife.

Excellent work! This is a really thoughtful project with an excellent mission. I especially love that you were able to code it to be functional, and that you included a design system in your figma file! Really impressive work!

A couple of things to consider for the future:
• The form factor shown is a mobile device, but the controls are designed for keyboard use. Could there be a web version and a mobile version of this game?
• Your environmental mission is awesome! I wonder though about the carbon footprint of using a helicopter for pick up. If the objective is to get people educated and invested in environmental protection, I might revisit the idea to have the vehicle be a boat.
• How could the game help to spread this message? Through sharing your score on social media? By being able to invite and play with friends?

Excellent work! You went above and beyond and made something really special.

Great idea and important topic. And great job getting a working mock up - I enjoyed playing the game. I'd love to see this continue and make some stronger tie-ins to community and ways to take the fun we had picking up trash into the real world!

Like the idea. UI could be improved though.
