About this Project:

The challenge that our project addresses, is the fact that there is un-allowed food that people are eating in school cafeterias. By un-allowed, we mean people that follow certain religious restrictions and vegans/vegetarians.

We came up with our idea since there are many religious people in our school that can’t eat certain foods provided by the school. This then makes them hungry and can’t focus educationally.Chow Choice has evolved through the ideas the public have given us.

Makes Me Think

Feedback from the Judges:

I like the thought process behind offering meal options for different dietary preferences. Including information about ingredients would also help, as I have friends who are vegan or vegetarian but not completely vegan. There should be clear distinctions between vegan, vegetarian, and regular options to accommodate everyone.

The concept is effective, especially for people with dietary restrictions. However, more thought could have gone into how the system works. I didn't understand the voting system, so clearer instructions would be helpful. Other than that, great job on the concept and thought process!

Nice work team! I love your motivation behind this idea to provide meal options for different dietary needs. Also like the concise mockup you created. I would suggest to add some instruction on the voting part and maybe showing the vote result as well. Great thought process on understanding the problem and design the solution.
