About this Project:
For more than decades, there has been a decline in oceanic health. Causes of this decline are pollution, overexploitation, and global climate change. All of these causes can be traced back to one species that is humanity. Humans have immensely negatively impacted the ocean however there are some that protect the ocean and its life. The only way to combat this issue is through a cumulative resolve by humanity to take accountability for our actions. It is important that we do this soon because the ocean, specifically water, is something that we humans severely depend on. As a result, I decided to design my game focused around this problem. My target audience was youth because they will become the new leaders of the future so they should be taught now to fix the issue during their time. In the game, you can choose your avatar and there is a diverse collection for users to do so. Users have been tasked with cleaning the ocean and they will do this in a submarine. There are multiple options to choose from when picking your submarine. After this, there are six levels to play where you must identify the waste you are instructed to remove before the time runs out. If you don’t beat the level, you can always go back and play again. Once you have finished all the levels, there will be a message thanking you for your work. Just to reiterate, you are free to play again.

Feedback from the Judges:
Amazing designs and approach to your project vision! From the name, to the presentation design, to the outstanding features of the game itself, this was a treat to review and would make an exceptional app. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in gamifying solutions and presenting them in such an engaging way!
Your designs and project vision are truly impressive and innovative! Exploring your initial wireframes, moodboard, and prototype was a delight. It's evident that a great deal of attention was given to the UI/UX. The potential for educating others about oceanic health through a game is clear. I would suggest considering the addition of further educational components to enhance its value even more.
